Guilt Free ”Ice Cream”

I like ice cream but I can’t eat ice cream(f** you lactose intolerance) so I always seek delicious alternatives, this one was inspired by something I saw online and luckily I had a lot of frozen over ripe bananas in the freezer when I decided to give it a go.

So to serve 2(one, it will serve one person) you’ll need:

  • 2 frozen ripe banana(the riper the better)
  • 1 heaped tablespooon of cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or any nut butter of your choice
  • splash of almond milk

How to:

Slice your bananas before freezing(freeze for at least 4 hours), take them out, leave out for 20 minutes or so and separate all pieces before putting them in a food processor, add cocoa, peanut butter & milk(tiny amount). Pulse and then use highest setting until the mixture is super soft and smooth and is similar to ice cream texture.

Spoon out, layout, add anything else you want(nuts, coconut, chocolate drops, tears of unicorn) and ENJOY!

Best enjoyed with a bitter beer or a glass of sharp red.
